Hello ! Welcome to Mrs. Bryant's Classroom!
Hi! Welcome to my Kindergarten class here at Cedar Grove Elementary. Let me share a little bit about myself. My name is Inga Bryant and first and foremost you should know that I Love teaching Kindergarten. There is no other job that I would rather be doing. The 2018-2019 school year marks my 28th year as a teacher. The time has certainly flown by! Since I have been teaching, I have had the pleasure of teaching K4, K5 Kindergarten, third grade, fourth grade, and ED. I have also tutored kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth graders in reading and math.
I graduated from Berkeley High School in 1985. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science Degree from Lander College in 1989 and my Master's Degree in 1993 from Clemson University. I am also trained in Reading Recovery.I am blessed with a wonderful family. My husband Gary and I have been married for 27 years. We have 3 beautiful children. Halee is 23 and is in her 2nd year of Medical School at South Carolina School of Medicine and just recently got married, Gary is 21 and is a Senior at Clemson University, and Payton who is 20 and and just graduated from NewSpring Leadership College. I thank God every day for richly blessing my life.I am also blessed with many wonderful friends. In fact, I am so blessed that I get to teach with many of them right here at Cedar Grove.I have often heard people remark that Kindergarten is one of the most rewarding grades to teach. I must agree! Kindergarten is a year filled with academic and social growth, and it is amazing to watch it take place. It is a time of new beginnings. Our days will be filled with different experiences. I want all of the children to be excited when they leave school and look forward to coming back the next day. I believe that all children can be successful learners. It is important to keep in mind that children do not experience success in the same manner, at the same rate, nor on the same level. Even though children learn differently, they Can All Learn!I am excited about the upcoming year and can't wait to get started. Feel free to call me at school, send an e-mail, or write me a note in the communication notebook if you have any questions or concerns.
