Welcome! My name is Nadia Granger. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. After working for a small town newspaper in Georgia, I decided to change career paths and enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Converse College. In August 2009, I received a Masters plus 30 degree in Special Education with an add on certification in Elementary Education. This is my tenth year teaching, my fifth year teaching at Palmetto Elementary, and my second year teaching fifth grade.
Born and raised in Juliette, Georgia I will forever be a Georgia Bulldog fan, and my favorite ice cream will always be my great grandmother’s homemade peach ice cream (made from Georgia peaches, of course). I love to run, bike, and hike; I love running, biking, and hiking even more when I get to travel to new places to do them. I am married and have three really awesome dogs.
I am passionate about teaching kids. All children can learn but not all children learn the same way. My primary goals as a teacher are: to create a loving, trusting, and safe environment for my students; to make learning fun so students will become lifelong learners; to help my students reach their highest potential. I look forward to working with you and your child this year.Email: firstname.lastname@example.orgPhone: 864-847-5442Fax: 864-847-3504Twitter: @NGrangernInstagram: @grangermustangs
