Summer Reading for ALL English Students (except AP Language and AP Literature)
Students are required to choose a book of at least 100 pages to read this summer. The book can be any work of fiction not previously assigned in an English class (including Elementary and Middle School class books), as long as it is school appropriate. Teachers will give assessments on the books within the first two weeks of school. Summer Reading will count towards at least one major grade on the first nine weeks report card.
