• Hello, My name is David Savage.  This will be my fifth year teaching through the PACE program.  This is a program in South Carolina that allows people from the professional world to obtain a teaching certificate.  I graduated from Clemson University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.  I also have a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. I started a 16 year career at Fluor where I worked on mass transit and power plant projects across the world.  I have worked on projects in 5 continents and 35+ states.  I am looking forward to bringing this experience to all of my students in Algebra 2, Foundations of Algebra and Pre-Cal this year.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have. savaged@apps.anderson1.org or (864) 847-7311.

I have been based in Greenville since 2002 after growing up in Ladson, a small suburb of Charleston, SC.  My wife, Melinda, and I have twin sons, Phillip and Riggs, that are 12 years old and starting 7th grade.  We also have a daughter, Lillian, who is nine and will be starting fourth grade this year.  Our latest addition to the family is Scarlett, a 2 year old Brittany Spaniel. In my free time you can usually find me coaching a little league soccer, basketball, or football game.  I also enjoy attending Clemson sporting events and traveling to the lake and beach.
