Welcome to Mrs. Cothran's 2022-2023 Website!

Hello, and welcome to my website! I hope that you will find some useful information here that will help you and your child become better acquainted with me and the procedures of my classroom. I will be teaching all fourth grade subjects: ELA - (Reading, Writing, and Grammar),  Math, Science, and Social Studies to my students.

This will be my 32nd year teaching at Wren Elementary, and my fourth year teaching 4th grade; I previously taught 5th grade.  I graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. In 1999 I received my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Clemson, and in 2015 I received my second Master's degree (Ed.S) in Administration and Supervision. I received my National Board Certification in 2003 and my NBCT renewal in 2012.

I am a wife, mother, and grandma who loves her family more than life itself. 

I consider myself blessed to be a teacher who gets to live out her dreams every day. I'm very excited about this new year and new experiences.

I am bubbling over with excitement about starting another wonderful year.
