        Welcome to Third Grade! My name is Katie Tyner and this is my 18th year teaching at Wren Elementary.  I am married to my husband Sean and we have a son named Bennett, and a daughter named Emoree Kate. I love spending time with my family!
      
        I am a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten for 10 years, second grade for five years, and this will be my third year teaching third grade. I absolutely LOVE teaching third grade! The children are so excited about learning and I love seeing them grow in so many areas.  This year your child will learn many new things. In order to make sure our goals are met, I ask that you be my partner in education.   Remember, you are your child's number one teacher in his/her life!!
