Hi, my name is Courtney Boyd.  I will be teaching Geometry and Teacher Cadet at Palmetto High School.  This is my fifteenth year teaching at Palmetto, and I am very excited to begin the school year.  Students, I am looking forward to getting to know you and hope that I am able to teach you many great things about math.  I hope to not only help you grow as a math student but also as a person.  To parents/guardians, I am looking forward to teaching your child and helping them in any way that I can.

To tell you a little bit about myself, I was born and raised in the small town of Chester, SC.  I then headed off to the great town of Clemson, SC, to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Teaching from Clemson University.  While at Clemson, I was a member of Tiger Band, Clemson University’s marching band, for four years, playing the Alto Saxophone.  My family and I have two dogs and one cat.  I love photography, traveling, and sports, especially Clemson athletics.(Go Tigers!)  I look forward to attending events at Palmetto High School.  I hope this lets you see a little bit of who I am!  GO MUSTANGS!
