 New Anderson School District One Administrators Named for 2018-2019

Anderson School District One named new administrators for the upcoming school year. A new superintendent and assistant superintendent, one new principals, and three new assistant principals.

       Binnicker Mr. Robbie Binnicker, Anderson One Superintendent

Mr. Robbie Binnicker will be the new superintendent for Anderson One beginning 2018-2019. He was formerly the Assistant Superintendent for Administration. He said, “I am honored and humbled by the confidence the Anderson One Board has placed in me. I am excited to work with excellent district and school administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents and community members to continue the tradition of excellence established in Anderson School District One.”


      Pew Dr. Kelly Pew, Anderson One Assistant Superintendent for Administration

Dr. Kelly Pew, new Assistant Superintendent for Administration said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to return to the district from which I graduated and began my administrative career. I will have the opportunity to work with and among many people for whom I hold much respect.”


              Bagwell Ms. Amy Bagwell, Principal West Pelzer Elementary

Ms. Bagwell shared, “I received an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Georgia, a Masters in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a Masters in Administration from Furman University. This is my 27th year in education, and all of those have been in Anderson School District One. I spent 13 years in the classroom at Cedar Grove Elementary. In 2005, I joined Wren Elementary School as the Instructional Assistant Principal. In the 17-18 school year, I was joined the Wren Middle School Administrative Team as the Instructional Assistant Principal.  I am very excited to serve the students, families, staff and community of West Pelzer Elementary School.”


Sutton Delaney Sutton, Assistant Principal West Pelzer Elementary

“I received my Elementary Education degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN in 1998.  I received a Masters in Administration from Furman University in 2004.  This is my 19th year in education with the last four years being in Anderson District 1.  I have teaching experience in several grade levels as well as eight years of administrative experience. I am thrilled to be working with the West Pelzer community.  I am looking forward to a wonderful school year working with students and teachers at West Pelzer.” 


Crawford Matthew Crawford, Assistant Principal Palmetto Middle School

I am a proud Palmetto High School graduate and excited to return home to Anderson School District One.  I received my Bachelors degree from USC Upstate in Middle Level Education and my Masters in Administration and Educational Leadership from Anderson University.  I am starting my fourteenth year in education, and I am privileged to be the Assistant Principal at Palmetto Middle School.  It is a dream come true to be back home, working in and serving the community that I grew up in.  


Alford Nicole Alford, Assistant Principal Wren Middle School


I was born and raised in Easley, SC. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees at Anderson University. I am starting my fourteenth year in education. Previously, I have been a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, and instructional coach in Pickens County and Greenville County. Last year, I was an instructional technologist for Anderson One. I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Wren Middle School this year. I look forward to becoming part of this community and working with our students, teachers, and families.


Mrs. Harrison, Assistant Superintendent, said, “Returning to a new school year is an exciting time. We are thrilled to have administrators returning to new positions and others joining us. Anderson District One has a strong legacy of strong leaders leading the district and schools and we are happy for the addition of our new administrators.
