This is my 12th year as the school nurse at Powdersville High School and I continue to love being here! My hours in the health room are 07:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday-Friday.
I graduated from nursing school in 1989 and worked for 20 years at Greenville Memorial Hospital (now Prisma) in pediatrics and pediatric emergency. I have always loved working with kids of all ages and also enjoyed working with the older population as a home health nurse for 2 years. I received certification as a pediatric nurse from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for 8 consecutive years and have been a CPR instructor for most of my nursing career. I've worked as a nurse educator and nurse supervisor and have enjoyed many levels of the nursing profession. My husband David and I have been married for many wonderful years and we have a fur baby named CeCe. We love the outdoors and my husband and I enjoy camping in our motor home year round.
