On March 26th, Cedar Grove Elementary students in Mrs. Fousek's first grade class were visited by "Andy the Armadillo" (Texas Roadhouse Mascot), Pam Hope (Store Marketing Representative) and Joyce Ellison (Co-Trainer) from the Anderson restaurant location!
Mrs. Fousek's students won the Texas Roadhouse Gift Card Sales Contest in December and were treated to a picnic lunch! Freezer Pops were given to all the students in the school as well!
Texas Roadhouse has gone above and beyond in supporting the students and staff at CGES this year! We are so grateful for their incredible generosity! Pictured are students from Mrs. Fousek's class, CGES Principal Matt White and the Texas Roadhouse crew!

This year, the first place winners of the competition were teams from Powdersville Elementary and Hunt Meadows Elementary. CGES is proud to announce that one of our teams (The Wild Tires) came in second place, along with Spearman Elementary. All of our students worked extremely hard building their robots, learning how to drive them, and figuring out how to earn maximum points in the competition. Congratulations to our team from Mrs. McDade (STEM Teacher) and all CGES staff and students!

We cannot wait till next season starts!
