From guest readers, to dress-up days, to lots and lots of books, PES had a blast celebrating Read Across America Week!










Read Across America Week is next week, March 3-7. We will celebrate at PES with school-wide reading and dress up days! Please see the flyer for more details.


Online Registration opens March 5, 2025. This registration is for new students for the 2025-2026 school year.
K4 Registration - Students must be four on or before September 1, 2025

❄️ IMPORTANT WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ❄️
Due to the updated weather forecast and out of an abundance of caution, Anderson One will move to an eLearning Day on Wednesday, January 22.
Anderson County Emergency Management projects additional snowfall tonight, and with the freezing temperatures expected, some road and bridge conditions may become hazardous.
E-Learning reminders 📚
Elementary School: Assignments will be posted in Seesaw.
Middle School: Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.
High School: Assignments should be posted in Google Classroom.
📘✏️Students will have 5 days to complete their eLearning assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions from 9:00-10:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:00 p.m. via Seesaw messenger, Google Classroom, or email.

ASD1 Student Services Department is hosting a Community Health Fair on February 1st at Palmetto Middle in the gym from 10am-12pm. This is open to everyone in the community to build connections with resources for physical health, mental health, nutrition, & overall wellness.


Tomorrow we will operate on a two hour delay.
❄️School buses will arrive at bus stops approximately 2 hours after their normal pick-up times tomorrow morning.
❄️Our doors will open for student drop off at 9:20.
❄️Breakfast will be served.
❄️Students enrolled in half day morning 3K program will not report to school, but afternoon 3K students will report on a normal schedule.

📚 What you need to know:
• All after-school activities and athletic events scheduled for Friday and Saturday are canceled
• Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom for middle and high school students
• Assignments will be posted in Seesaw for elementary students
• Students will have 5 days to complete their eLearning assignments
