Excited to announce our 2026-2027 PVHS Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Rachel Loftus!! This is Mrs. Loftus’s 2nd year as our Multi-Language teacher, where she supports our multilingual students through direct instruction, collaborative teaching with other content area teachers, and day-to-day support as these kids assimilate to a new culture. Her heart for all students is evident in her willingness to build relationships and meet them where their needs are - in and out of the classroom. Tomorrow, for example, she has teacher volunteers participating in mock job interviews with some of our multilingual students to provide practice and ease any anxieties they might have for real future interviews. Let me add…she also fully commits to Spirit Dress Up days - never underestimate the power to embrace a crazy dress theme and show your humorous side to your students! Endearing.
