Congrats to Rod'ja Smith and Hayley King who are our 2023 Prom King and Queen!

This year, Ms. Scales’ Blue 1 class has been writing letters back and forth with a class at a school in Georgia (Ms. Scales’ mom happens to be their teacher!). Yesterday, they all got to meet when their Georgia pen pals came for a visit! As you can see, they had a fun time hanging in person and touring the school.

Thanks to all of the Powdersville area teachers and administrators who took part in our annual tradition of writing letters to our graduating Seniors. As you can tell from their smiles, your words of encouragement, memories, and kind messages meant a lot. Any Senior who was absent or out of the building today may stop by the library to get your letter from Mrs. Chesney. #pvhsco2023

Important Senior Meeting this Thursday! We really need every Senior in attendance to get the info you need about Graduation, clearing Senior Fees, turning in materials, and Senior Day events. See you there!

Congratulations to Hayley King who has signed to be a manager with the Southern Wesleyan Softball team next year. Hayley is truly a Warrior, and we’re so excited for her to get this opportunity!

It's gettin' close, y'all...

Happy Signing Day to Noah Stump, who has signed to run at Anderson University, and to Zac Doneth who has signed to run at Seton Hall next year. Proud of and excited for you both!

Here's a fun opportunity for young basketball fans in the community!

So THIS just happened…$20,534.35! Thanks to Mrs. McAbee, Mrs. Hendricks, our StuCo Co-Presidents (David Middleton and Shayne Pruitt), our StuCo members, Dr. Lanford, a now almost hairless Coach Cam and all of the students, teachers, staff, and parents who contributed in any way to our 2023 Spirit Week!! Your contributions are making a difference in the lives of families served by the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation. The thing about giving is when you give, you get so much back in return.

Spirit Week activities for Monday, April 3. All proceeds benefit the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation.

Our NHS sponsored a totally FREE book fair for our neighbors at PVES. Students had the opportunity to come through and “shop" for a book and a PVHS student-made bookmark as part of a fun event to celebrate the end the National Reading Month. Thank you to all who contributed - we hope our young companions enjoy their books!

Our PVHS Choir just made Superior with Distinction at CPA today - so proud of you all!!

Congratulations to Teacher Cadet and U.S. History teacher, Kati Linn, who is our 2023-2024 Powdersville High School Teacher of the Year!!

Time to start searching your closet and/or thrift stores for Spirit Week Dress Up Days!
