We are incredibly proud of our Vex IQ Elementary Robotics teams! We are a first-year Robotics team, and four of our five teams competed at the State Championship yesterday. The four teams who competed at State were Gadget Girls, Albert Einstein Jrs, The Chosen Four, and Code Crushers. They all put in the time and effort to get here and it shows! These teams not only compete on the field with their robot but also complete engineering notebooks and judges interviews as part of the awards process. These competitions are almost like four rolled into one day.
We had two teams place in the top 10 (Code Crushers 5th and Albert Einstein Jrs 8th). Gadget Girls won the Innovate Award and Albert Einstein Jrs won the Design Award. The Design Award is an Elementary World Championship Qualifier in South Carolina, so the Albert Einstein Jrs are headed to Dallas to compete on the world stage!
