This week is Nurse Appreciation Week! We want to recognize our nurse, Cynthia Silletti, this week for all that she pours into our students on a daily basis! We are fortunate to have such an amazing nurse.

Today our school was recognized at the Drive game as a Top Performer and Hall of Fame school for the Reading All-Stars Challenge. The next game we will be recognized at will be on May 21st. We hope to see you there! #pvespride

It was a big week at Powdersville Elementary. We had our 5th graders represent us at the ASD1 Olympics, Girls on the Run had their big race, and our Mother & Son event was a big hit. #pvespride









Today our students and staff wore purple in honor of our Military Family Spirit Week. Some of our students and staff that have family members in the military also added the purple pinwheels in front of the school.






Congratulations to The Seekers of the Hidden Libraries! Not only did they win our school Battle of the Books competition, but they also won for the district. These ladies made us very proud! #pvespride

Rhythm on the River - This event will be at Dolly Cooper Park from 3-8 p.m.

We have made an adjustment to our days due to Spring Pictures being tomorrow. Please notice that tomorrow will be Crazy Sock Day and Wednesday will be Team Day.

Tomorrow will be a FUND Friday for a cause! Students can bring $1 to wear a hat. PTSO will be donating all proceeds to support a former PVES student's family. This student was previously diagnosed with cancer.

Today our fourth grade homerooms welcomed families in to their "Fraction Pizzerias." Students took pizza orders and showed off their projects. Thank you to all that were able to come in today. #pvespride










We want to congratulate all of our students who became part of our Writing Wall of Fame on Friday. These students were recognized for having one of the best writing pieces in their class due to hard work perfecting their writing craft. #pvespride
