What a whirlwind week for our PVMS 8th Graders! Our students swapped the classroom for the history-soaked streets of Washington, D.C., and it was a trip we won't soon forget.

From the natural wonders of Natural Bridge to the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery, our students showed incredible respect and curiosity at every turn. We walked through history at the Smithsonian Museums, stood in awe under the dome of the U.S. Capitol, and explored the stunning Library of Congress.

Highlights from the Trail:

• Reflecting on History: Deeply moving visits to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the various memorials along the National Mall.

• Honor & Service: Learning about the bravery of our soldiers at the National Museum of the U.S. Army.

• Hidden Gems: Finding the secret doors and creative wonders at the O Street Museum.

Our 8th graders represented PVMS with pride, soaking up every bit of culture, history, and leadership our nation’s capital has to offer.
