
Mrs. Coyle's fourth graders hosted a Fraction Fair. Students created presentations and games to practice comparing fractions and finding equivalent fractions. Students and staff had so much fun playing the games!

The WES Student Lighthouse team proposed a service learning project and took initiative to plan the project. The team collected donations of blankets, games, and snacks for a local senior center. The Lighthouse members delivered the donations and spent time with the seniors. We are so proud of our students for this service project.

Today, we celebrate our SRO. National SRO Day is this Saturday, so we want to recognize Officer Mayfield today. Thank you Officer Mayfield for keeping us safe every day. Thank you for helping our community as well. We love Officer Mayfield!

This week is National School Counseling Week. We cannot thank our school counselor enough for her work with our students. She is always willing to help and teaches fun character lessons to our classes. Thank you to Mrs. Bayne!
