Anderson One Athletics Clear Bag Policy. Clear bags (no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches), one gallon plastic storage bags, and small clutches or wallets (no larger than 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches) are permitted. Small soft-sided coolers are allowed for infant formula, milk, and medications that need to be refrigerated.

Clear Bag Policy Implemented for All Athletic Events

Williamston, S.C. - Anderson School District One has implemented a clear bag policy for all athletic events as part of its continued commitment to maintaining a safe environment for students, staff, and spectators.  

Anderson One Athletics Clear Bag Policy. Clear bags (no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches), one gallon plastic storage bags, and small clutches or wallets (no larger than 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches) are permitted. Other bags prohibited include backpacks, purses, camera cases, fanny packs, mesh bags, binoculars case, oversized totes, seat cushions with pockets, and tinted or patterned plastic bags. Soft sided coolers are allowed for items like formula or medicine that need refrigerated. All items subject to search.

Under the clear bag policy, the following bags are approved:

  • Clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”

  • One gallon plastic storage bag

  • Small clutch or wallet no larger than 6.5” x 4.5”

Additionally, small soft-sided coolers are permitted for infant formula, milk, or medications that require refrigeration. 

Several bags are prohibited and will not be allowed to enter athletic events, including:

  • Backpacks

  • Purses

  • Camera cases

  • Mesh bags

  • Fanny packs

  • Binocular cases

  • Oversized tote bags

  • Seat cushions with pockets

  • Tinted or printed plastic bags. 

All items are subject to search. Anderson One is not responsible for property damage or lost/stolen items. 

The clear bag policy was implemented ahead of the 2025-2026 school year.
