The Powdersville High School Boys Soccer Team was recognized for winning the AAA State Championship

Williamston, S.C. - The Anderson School District One Board of Trustees honored several students for outstanding achievements during their meeting on July 29, 2025. 

The Palmetto High School Air Force JROTC was recognized for their performance at the Southeast Region Cadet Leadership Course.

The school board recognized Palmetto High School Air Force JROTC cadets who completed the Southeast Region Cadet Leadership Course last month at the University of West Georgia. The Palmetto High School AFJROTC received the 2025 Southeast Region Cadet Leadership Course Unit of Excellence award, and several cadets received individual awards, including:

Grace Davis was recognized as a track and field state champion for the 100 meters

Daya Ross was recognized as a track and field state champion for the 3200
