Williamston, S.C. - The Anderson School District One Board of Trustees has approved attendance lines for Oak Hill Elementary, effective in the 2026-2027 school year.
The new elementary school is expected to open in the summer of 2026 to accommodate growth in the Powdersville area. The school board used the Local Option Sales Tax to help fund the $40 million project without a bond referendum.
Once the new elementary school opens, Concrete Primary will transition to Concrete Elementary, serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Powdersville Elementary will also transition to Kindergarten through 5th grade. This means all three elementary schools in the Powdersville area will support K-5 students starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
The attendance zones were developed to support future growth in all three schools while ensuring balanced enrollment and demographics.
