Williamston, S.C. - Anderson School District One was among the top-performing districts in the state on the 2024-2025 SC Ready assessments. The results recently released by the South Carolina Department of Education reflect the district's continued commitment to ensuring all students have an opportunity to learn at high levels.
According to the 2024-2025 SC Ready results, Anderson One is one of only two districts in the state that exceeded the South Carolina Department of Education’s ELA goal of 75% proficiency in grades 3 through 5. Additionally, ELA scores in each grade from 3rd through 8th ranked in the top 5 in the state.

At the end of each school year, students in grades 3 through 8 are required to take the SC Ready statewide assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, and students in 4th and 6th grade are also assessed in Science.
In math, Anderson School District One is one of two districts statewide where more than 50% of students in grades 3 through 8 demonstrated proficiency in math.

Anderson One saw improvements in middle school math. 6th through 8th grades all ranked in the top 5 for math proficiency.
Ranked among the top 5 in the state for science proficiency in both grades 4 and 6.
The South Carolina Department of Education also released the statewide 2024-2025 End-of-Course Examination (EOCEP) results. High school students are required to take this exam if they are enrolled in Algebra 1, Biology, English 2, or United States History and the Constitution. The EOCEP is administered at the end of the courses.
Anderson School District One is one of only two districts statewide with EOC scores that ranked among the top 10 in all four courses.
