Williamston, S.C. - Anderson School District One Kindergarten (K5) students will begin the 2026-27 school year on a staggered start schedule.
With a staggered start, each K5 student will attend school on one assigned day during the first five days of the school year.
This schedule will help provide students with a positive and welcoming transition to school while giving teachers an opportunity to get to know each child and complete important beginning-of-year assessments.
Elementary Schools will provide additional information to K5 parents the week of July 13, including the day their child will attend school during the staggered start week. The first full day of school for all Anderson One K5 students will be Thursday, August 13, 2026.
