Spartanburg, S.C. - On June 13, 2026, twenty-one Palmetto High School AFJROTC cadets successfully completed the Converse Cadet Leadership Course (CLC) at the Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This year's CLC was comprised of 178 cadets, representing 14 high schools from Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The cadets participated in rigorous training in 5 categories: academics, physical training, regulation drill, personal inspections, and room inspections.

Cadre: These cadets have previously completed the CLC Basic Course. Based upon their performance during the Basic Course, they were chosen by a Cadre Selection Board, consisting of AFJROTC Instructors, to return as CLC leaders. With instructor supervision and guidance, the Cadre planned, organized, and executed the CLC training plan.
