The Town of Williamston is hiring a part-time crossing guard to direct school traffic and ensure students cross the road safely. This job includes working a 2 hour shift in the morning before school starts and a 2 hour shift in the afternoon when school is in session.
Hours: Monday through Friday, August through May
Morning shift: 7:30 - 9 a.m.
Afternoon shift: 2:30- 4 p.m.

Kindergarten schedule information for the 2026-27 school year 📆
Anderson School District One Kindergarten (K5) students will begin the 2026-27 school year on a staggered start schedule.
With a staggered start, each K5 student will attend school on one assigned day during the first 5 days of the school year.
This schedule will help provide students with a positive and welcoming transition to school while giving teachers an opportunity to get to know each child and complete important beginning-of-year assessments.
Elementary Schools will provide additional information to K5 parents the week of July 13. The first full day of school for all K5 students will be Thursday, August 13, 2026.
