Public schools are the cornerstone of our communities. We welcome students of all backgrounds, abilities, and incomes. We each play a role in ensuring our schools are open to all.
During American Education Week, we celebrate public education and show appreciation for the men and women who make a difference in students' lives daily. Anderson School District One would like to recognize and thank every employee for giving 100% to our district. The roles that our employees perform each day impact our students and are an integral part of what fosters our "Tradition of Excellence".
School Administrators, teachers, staff members, district office staff and administration continually work for the best interest of the student and on this week, especially, but always...Thank you!!!

Honoring our Veterans
During the week of November 11 - 15th we would like to recognize our Anderson School District One Psychologists that do an amazing job supporting our students, faculty and staff.
To understand what our psychologists do each day...School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. This truly doesn't encompass the entire scope of their work. They are an extremely valued and appreciated part of the Anderson School District One Team.
During the week of November 11-15th, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and schools across the United States will mark National School Psychology Week (NSPW). This week celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the important role they play in schools and communities. NSPW is an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home, and in life. This year’s theme, “Spark Discovery,” recognizes the work that school psychologists do to help their communities seek out new ideas, effect change, and expand horizons for children and youth. Join us by taking this week to embark on a journey of discovery, explore how each person can celebrate the work of school psychologists, and learn how school psychologists help students, families, and communities every day.
