On Tuesday, September 19th, we will celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day! We encourage all of our students to dress up like a pirate (following school dress code).
Attention All Grandparents!
We will be hosting Grandparents' Breakfast on September 7 (K4-1st grade) and on September 12 (2nd-5th grades). Breakfast begins both days at 7:20 a.m. Invitations will be sent home today. Complete and return all forms by Tuesday, September 5th.

The Grove Stone Updates
SHOUT OUT to those who have displayed their creativity to celebrate your children on The Grove Stone!! There are still dates available for this school year. Please see the attached flyer and announcement with corresponding information.

**If reserving for Monday’s date, you have Friday 5pm-Monday 5pm

**Reminder**
Melvin Lane is one-way in the mornings during drop-off and afternoons during pick-up.
Do not turn off of Hwy 20 onto Melvin Lane between 7:30am-8:00am and 2:00-2:45pm.
Coming from Williamston on Hwy 20, pass Melvin Lane, and then take next left onto Harper St. Then take the next left onto Melvin Lane.
Coming from Belton on Hwy 20, take right onto Harper St. and then take the next left onto Melvin Lane.
This is for the entire school year. This will allow drop-offs and pick-up to run more smoothly. Thank you for your assistance!
Reserve the Rock!!
We are happy to announce that The Grove Stone is available for families to reserve and paint their school spirit. You can reserve the rock for anything! ….to celebrate a child’s/grandchild’s birthday, to recognize special events in your child’s life: recitals, good luck sign, homecomings, recreational events, or special messages just for them!
Cost: $20.00 to reserve the rock. You will need to purchase and bring your own painting supplies to write your message.

Healthy Connections Medicaid Information
It is that time of the year again! Williamston Church of Christ is putting together book bags with supplies. Pickup date will be July 22, 2023 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please RSVP via Facebook or text 864-933-6835. While supplies last.
Returning Student Registration - Have you completed the Returning Student Registration form in the Parent Portal yet? If you haven't, log into your parent portal account using a web browser (the Parent Portal App will not work for this task), click on the "Returning Student Registration 23-24" link on the left navigation bar and complete it. We are looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!
Congratulations to Mr. Matthew Gregory for being chosen as our 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year! We are blessed to have Mr. Gregory as part of our Cedar Grove family!
We are excited to announce that Dion Leonard and Gobi will be here for an author visit in April. Order forms for autographed books were sent home today. If you would like to preorder an autographed, and "pawtographed", book by Dion and Gobi, please send the order form and money back by April 20th.
