CREATE music performance TOMORROW (June 15th) at Wren Elementary! We have five former 5th graders and two former 4th graders from PES participating. They are performing several pieces with bucket drums, ukuleles and songs with rhythm instruments/choreography. They have had a blast and can’t wait to perform for everyone!

If anyone missed the window to order class photos before the end of the school year, here is an updated link that will be open until the end of the month! Order your child’s class photo and have it shipped to your home address!

Elementary start and ending times will change for next school year across all elementary schools in Anderson School District One. Palmetto Elementary will start at 7:55am and end at 2:15pm.
***The doors will still open for students to be dropped off at 7:20am as it has been in the past. The only change is the school day will begin at 7:55am in classrooms and dismissal will be at 2:15pm.
This time allows teachers to work collaboratively in grade levels or subject areas to define essential standards, create common formative assessments, and create methods for acceleration and remediation for students. Elementary schools are working on their class schedules to minimize any impact on direct instructional time. The new time change also allows our bus schedule to run much more efficiently and may allow buses to operate on a more timely afternoon schedule for student pick-up at the middle and high schools.

What an adorable concert presented by our students led by our talented music teacher, Mrs. Ashley Dodgens! The Palmetto Singers sang several songs with three beautiful solos. Then, the first graders performed Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. Simply precious! 🎶❤️
