Though our Girls Golf team didn’t win region, two of our players did make All Region - shout out to Ashlyn Wilson and Sydney McKee for this honor!! Proud of you, ladies.

Seniors, this Thursday is College Application Day! Plan to join us in the library begninng at 9:00 as our Guidance Dept. and representatives from local colleges and universities will assist you with any questions you have about a particular application or the applicatin process.

What has NHS been up to lately? Quite a bit, actually.
Unloading pumpkins at Bethesda UMC for their annual pumpkin sale (proceeds are split between three missions - a school in Kenya, a disaster relief organization, and our very own PVMS through their food program that helps kids/families with food needs)
Making baskets for the Dig Pink raffle in support of bread cancer awareness
Donating candy towards our annual Trunk or Treat event later this month

The Anderson One Nutrition Service Department is excited to announce the launch of the new My School Menus app! The My School Menus app allows parents and students to access breakfast and lunch menus for all district kitchens. Just simply download the app from the app store, search for Anderson School District One, select your student’s school, and then select the menu you would like to view. You may also view My School Menus online.
By using the app you can view all nutritional information for each menu item or the entire menu for the day. You can also use the Build A Meal feature to select individual items from the menu and the nutritional information for your selection. By using the app you can filter allergens, carbs, protein, calories, and much more.
As a department, we feel that it is very important for parents to have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips when it comes to their child's nutrition. The app is convenient for all parents to track their child’s nutritional needs. With the ever-changing supply delays causing menu changes it is important to us to establish a direct line of communication with families to keep them informed of last-minute changes. On the administrative side of the app, the food service department is able to plan menus to ensure that all state and federal regulations are met.

Though the actual class isn’t until Spring, this year’s Teacher Cadets - with teacher leader, Kati Linn - got to spend Friday at Anderson University to learn more about the program. Looking over these faces, what a bright future is ahead for our schools and classrooms!

The Lady Patriot Volleyball Youth Night will be Tuesday, September 26. All girls who attended the youth camp over the summer will get in for free! Please wear your youth camp t-shirt. The campers will be able to stand with the varsity players during the National Anthem. The varsity game begins at 7:00. Please arrive by 6:45 on the gym floor. Go, Patriots!

Our Volleyball team has been on the road but is back at home this Thursday! Be sure to catch them in action vs Southside as well at at these other home matches.

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week, and PVHS and our Guidance Department will be sponsoring activities every day this week to bring attention and awareness to this important issue.

Congrats to these Patriots who - along with Ms. Lundgren - will present “Treasure Island“ this fall!

PVHS vs Pendleton tonight!

Important Info for Parking at Friday's PVHS vs Mauldin football game:
1) Home fans will park at Gates A, C, and D (ie. middle and elementary school parking lots)
2) Visiting fans will park at Gate D (ie. our Student Parking Lot beside the high school)
3) Coaches, Buses, Service Personel will use Gate E (the bus loop)
4) Handicap parking will be at Gate D (the top of the Student Parking Lot closest to the stadium). A Golf Cart shuttle will help transport attendees from his area to the stadium.
*We will have out signs indicating these areas to help you
