Exciting Week at Spearman Elementary! 🌟
1st graders had a blast celebrating the 120th day of school with a Fancy and Fun Day! 🎉 Our school hosted 70 middle schoolers for a job shadowing day, and Kindergarten wowed us with a Starbooks writing/reading celebration. 📚 PTO Candy Grams were delivered, and our 4th graders showcased their creativity with a sound parade featuring handmade instruments made in STEM! During STEM, the students have been learning that all of the sounds they hear will be caused by vibrations. They’ve learned that sound travels to our ears by sound waves.🎶

Mrs. Hyman's class wrapped up their fluency unit with a Reader's Theater Performance. They welcomed their family, friends and other staff members to watch the performance.
A few things they were practicing throughout this unit were expression and noticing their punctuation.
Mr. Lesley was able to attend and said "We're so proud of their hard work and also proud of them for facing their fears by getting in front of their peers and teachers to present."
