At Spearman we take rude, unkind behavior seriously. This week during morning announcements, Mr. Lesley is sharing a message about bullying behavior and how we want students to feel safe at school. Additionally, this week's classroom guidance lessons have also focused on kindly interacting with others and not being a bully. We want students to feel empowered to bring bullying to an adult's attention!
School mode: activated for our K-4 students this week! We're excited to have you as part of our Spearman Family!

Returning Student Registration - Have you completed the Returning Student Registration form in the Parent Portal yet? If you haven't, log into your parent portal account using a web browser (the Parent Portal App will not work for this task), click on the "Returning Student Registration 23-24" link on the left navigation bar and complete it. We are looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!
If you have a child who is ready to start Kindergarten in August for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, registration is open!

It has been a fantastic first week of May at Spearman!
This week we celebrated Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! WOW - a huge THANK YOU to everyone that participated in showing love and thankfulness for our great staff! A special thanks to our PTO for making each day full of wonderful treats to enjoy.
Monday, May 1st, was School Principals’ Day! We are grateful for Mr. Lesley and his leadership at our school.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, first graders enjoyed a field trip to Callaham Orchards. On Thursday third graders visited the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia. Great fun & learning was had by all!
Thursday evening, May 4th, was our Family Literacy Festival. Thank you to all of the families who attended and participated in the literacy events and supported the local food trucks and vendors on site! The raffle baskets were a big hit, too. Congratulations to our winners!
Friday, May 5th, is Lunch Room Hero Day! We are thankful for the great care our lunch room ladies give in preparing breakfast and lunch for our students every school day.
We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow night from 5:30-8:30pm!
