For the 2024 season, PVHS Swim team is conducting early sign up now through our first practice on the week of August 5th. This early sign up allows us to plan for swimsuit availability and practice lanes at the Powdersville Y, as well as provide communications and updates as we approach the season.

2024 PVHS Swim team consist of rising 7th graders thru Seniors. PVHS swim season ends very early in the Fall (mid-October). PVHS swim is a great way to provide conditioning for your Winter/Spring sports seasons.

Thanks to the 81(!) campers who came out for this year’s PVHS Youth Volleyball Camp! This was the most attendees ever, and we trust the the girls learned many new skills while having a fun time. As Coach Passini said about our Volleyball program, “The future is bright!”


This year’s recipient of “The Charlie Pike True Grit Award” is Scott Drayton. Thanks so much for all that you do for the student-athletes at Powdersville High School and Powdersville Middle School. His hard work and dedication to our Athletic Department is second to none. We are so lucky to have Scott and his family with us and part of our community!

The Patriots are AAA Baseball State Champions!! PVHS defeated Hanahan 9-5 in game 3 of the series. So proud of this team and coaching staff and all they accomplished this season. You’ve made history, boys, as the 1st PVHS Baseball team to win State. ⚾️🏆🥹👊

Youth Volleyball Camp check in and pick up will be in the main gym (right across from the baseball/softball fields). Check-in will begin at 8:45 and pick up will be at 11:30. We have over 60 campers signed up so please arrive on time to keep things moving smoothly. Campers are asked to wear their camp shirts on Tuesday (they will receive them at check-in Monday).

We have two athletes who are State winners from yesterday’s State Track and Field competition!! Congrats to Ella Davidson, AAA State Girls Discus Champion, after throwing 119ft 6in, and to Molly Page Morris, AAA State Girls 100 Meter Hurdles Champion - so incredibly proud of you both!! 🥇👊



Upper State Chamions!!!! Patriots take down the Blue Ridge Tigers in just 5 innings, 12-2!! Tomorrow, Game 1 of State is at Hanahan at 6:30. Game 2 of State will be at home on Tuesday, weather pending. ⚾️👊


The Class of 2024 graduates tomorrow at Littlejohn Coliseum at 3:00! Here’s what you need to know:
1. Graduates-to-be should be there by 2:15, so we can get them checked off and lined up. Seniors - don’t forget your tassles(!)…it happens more than you know.

3. Plan to park in Lot 5 or C3
4. There are no tickets or limited number of guests - the venue allows you to bring as many friends and family as you’d like
